Red Lion Pub £

A traditional village pub set in the heart of idyllic Sturminster Marshall, serving delicious home cooked food and a selection of classic tipples every day.

Coventry Arms ££

They serve a modern British menu with fine dining flare, so to tingle your taste buds, think beautifully cooked classics with a modern twist. They also serve a selection of delicious Vegan options as well as a simplified children’s menu.

Lambs Green ££

The Inn was originally called Lambs' Green Farm, and was used to raise pigs, poultry, dairy cattle and sheep. The land was farmed until the 1980's when it was sold, becoming the Lambs' Green Inn. They maintain the original style and identity, helping to create a traditional atmosphere to relax, drink and dine.

Golden Fox ££

In the charming village of Sturminster Marshall, there lies a hidden gem, the Golden Fox. This establishment offers a menu of delectable European cuisine that will leave your taste buds dancing. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff that make you feel right at home.

independent local cafe for ideal for a full English, reasonably priced and only 1min from Moonacre by car. Local butchers and small farm shop is located on the site.

The Barn Cafe ££

Gorgeous setting and fantastic food, they serve the best cream teas and offer an extensive lunchtime and breakfast menu! One of our favourite places to visit.

Tower Park (Good on a wet day) 15mins

At Tower Park, Poole there's a galaxy of entertainment awaiting you. We're a top leisure destination for communities within Poole, Dorset and Bournemouth. Our leisure park is jam packed with activities for friends and family and comes with multiplex Cineworld Cinema, Tenpin bowling, kids soft play, bingo and a range of restaurants, there's enough to keep you busy whatever the weather.

Monkey World 20mins

The rescue centre has assisted governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates from the wild since 1987.

At the Centre refugees of this illegal trade as well as those that have suffered abuse or neglect are rehabilitated into natural living groups.

Tank Museum 30mins

The Tank Museum brings the story of tanks and their crews to life, with the world’s best collection of tanks in awe-inspiring, modern exhibitions.

The museum houses 300 military machines, representing the key battles of every major conflict since the First World War. Our moving exhibitions tell the story of this British invention; from the mud of the Somme to the beaches of Normandy and the deserts of Iraq – featuring powerful stories.

Studland Middle Beach 30-40mins

We are lucky to have such wonderful beaches in Dorset, Middle Beach offers safe swimming ample parking at a reasonable price it's often far quieter than the more well known beaches such as Sandbanks. If you do visit, a lovely spot for dinner is the Banks Arms over looking the sea to Bournemouth.
